Bad hip bruises can take a long time before they completely go away. Some people have to keep ice on it constantly for days on end before even thinking about skating again.

I havn't hurt myself skating in weeks but I was just walking and stmbled and rolled my ankle. It's kinda funny beecause it takes like 1/2 an hour to heal, that's how many times I have done it...

Strong yet weak!!!

Depends on how bad you've messed it up. I'd say a week for the pain to subside, and a bit longer for the bruise to go.

Would you really expect anyone on here to have enough medical experience to give you an accurate exam? Now think about the chances of them doing it over the internet... hmmmmm, nobody knows what you've done and how bad you've done it. If its that bad, go to the doctor.

One time me and my buds were having a pillow fight on my queen size bed with lavander pillows and velvet jumpsuits and I got pushed off onto my shag carpeted floor and bumped my hip on my Paris Hilton purse and got a little bump, the pain was gona after I stopped crying.

I have had massive black/blue/purple/magenta hip bruises, and I could usually skate the next day. About a week and it's not sore anymore.

I think a busted eardrum would hurt way worse, though.

I fell on my shoulder just two days ago and had to have an X-Ray. No bone damage, but plenty of muscle damage. Have to stay off the board for a few weeks; which isn't too bad considering the pain doesn't match such a trivial (by comparison) injury. It feels like I've done more than just some muscle damage, but whatever. As soon as it stops hurting, I'm going for a session.
