It's nike trying to pass themselves as not nike... but they didn't change the logo... so kinda ruined the point.

and never get them... nike is the biggest ***** company I've ever seen... well... that and Element, but that didn't stop you from getting an element (according to your icon)... so knock yourself out.

thats so stupid. theyre not, at all. its not even comparable to the way element is. when new kids in skating go "oh, hey, boards!" element is generally one of the first ones to mind. when they go "oh, hey, shoes!" its DEFINITELY not nike. im sure most people dont even know nike makes skate shoes when they start out.

and they have an awesome team. they dont have bullshit ads either, or people like bam and shit. theyre totally legit.

by the way, im not even a nike fan.. so this is not influenced by something like that.

In my opinion, they are a ***** company. It's only because every magazine I've ever seen has at least one Nike ad in it. To me it feels like their trying to commercialize skateboarding.

I know they aren't nearly as bad as Adio or Element... but still....

I agree that they have an awesome team and that most people don't know that Nike makes skate shoes when they first start out. But if they're *****s bye the time they get more into skateboarding and find out that they do make skate shoes, they go straight out and get them.

And almost every local kid I've seen skating Nikes starts talking shit about everyone and I play skate with them and beat them in usually at most 6 tricks.


I'm not trying to stereotype or anything.... I mean... not ALL people who skate Nike suck and/or are *****s... but I've seen maybe 2 good skaters with Nikes and about a hundred *****s.


I mean, take Savier for example. Never actually skated them, but from what I hear, they're great shoes and they're a Nike product... they were their first skate shoe and hardley anyone I've ever spoken to about them had any idea what Savier was before I told them.



And the entire reason I said Nike is a ***** company to begin with is because of one shoe... I don't know the name of it or anything but it's a NKE 6.0 shoe.

One heel says Jocks and the other says Suck... and in my opinion a shoe like that coming from Nike is going against itself.... which is part of being a *****.

I mean seriously, Nike is one of the biggest sport shoe distribution companies in the world. They make shoes for about every sport you can think of... jocks wear them on a regular basis... then they come out with a shoe that says Jocks Suck.... it's just way to hypocritical for me. Sorry if it offends you in any way but that's just how I feel.

Just accept that Nike is sick as all hell and is here to stay. They're putting money into skateboarding so the guys you look up to can support themselves.

Let me give you some advice man. A person can learn a lot more by listening than talking. When i first joined this place, i would only post questions, or replys to questions i KNEW the answers to. It probably took me about a year to get 100 posts, but by the time i was posting, i knew a hell of a lot more than i did right when i joined. I've got a shitload more posts now because for one I'm stuck at a computer 8 hours out of the day, and can check this place frequently, and also because I've learned enough from other people on here, and in the real world, that I feel my opinions and statements can help people. Take some time to read and take in everything before you go making bold statements like the ones in this thread, especially on topics you really dont know a lot about.
