starting snowboarding

ok so i am thnkin of startying snowboarding and dont know wat kinda gear to get

so wat should i look into that is cheap and good for beginners

Ok, for starters, how much do you weigh? That loosely determines how long of a board to get. I'd say start around 150-155 cm. Good all around. If you have a SportMart or SportsAuthority around, you're golden. Just to the board section, proly around the back, and look around. don't get anything too expensive, the middle range is proly what you wanna aim for.

Some bindings, burtons maybe $75-150
Boots, MAKE SURE THEY ARE COMFORTABLE!! $75-130

If you have a jacket and SNOW pants and shit you're set.

If not, sportmart has you covered.
Don't get the puffy skiing snow pants, go for the one layer snowpants, and wear sweats or underarmor under it.

Dress in layers.

Shred or die. :D
