don't feel bad, the es game of skate was in about every place possible. there was one happening in Woodward when I was there and quite frankly I left before the 3rd round. it was boring.

me and some friends went to the one in ohio, 2 1/2 hr drive and we skated cleveland before it. got some good footy on this huge 8 stair with a kinked marble hubba. 3 cops rolled by before us finally getting the boot by one of them who was a huge asshole. i was actually kinda disappointed in the competion at the g.o.s. there was probably only about 10 people out of 86 that were actually any good. and then they ended up getting picked to play someone else who was good so that eliminated some of the better players early on. the final 5 game was retarded, i could've beat at least 3 of them pretty easily. my friend got 6th because he got knocked on lame tricks. he was beating the guy t to k at one point with tre flip, nollie tre, nollie varial heel and double flip and then tried nollie big heel when he should've just done something easier cause the guy wasn't very good at flip tricks. he got beat on nollie 360 shove, impossible, fakie impossible, fs 360 and pressure footflip revert (like in the last part of chomp on this were mark gonzalas stands in the middle of his board and flips it sideways, he did that only with a pivot, what the hell is that?) the fs 360 was the only good trick that the guy pulled. actually i think my friend headed down to NC yesterday to catch the game of skate there, we'll see how that goes.
