Will stickers stick to griptape?

Hey, when I ordered my new board, I bout a Toy Machine Deck, Spitfire Wheels and Destructo Trucks. Now, I want to be able to tell the front end of my board from the back just by looking at the top, and I was considering puting a small Spitfire sticker on the tail end, on top of the griptape. Will it stay there, or will it just fall off?

No! dont do that. Color your front hardware or somthing. I have red hardware up front and black in the back. So try that.

i have silverados, 2 silver bolts on the tail side

Just put a little scratch in it with a rock or something. Once you've been riding in a minute, you'll be able to tell what the nose and tail are anyway, and you wont need it.

i always scratch a little x between my two front bolts. i dont NEED to because i can tell which is the nose and which is the tail, but i do it anyway so i never even have to think.

My friend traced the outline of a sticker w/ paint marker, then cut out the piece of grip and put the sticker on.

I alway's cut a little slash, about and inch long, out of the heel side, on the tail, around where the concave starts.

i hav 2 silverados on my nose and the toy machine stencil on my tail also my tail is a lot smaller than my nose

Hey, could I stencil out the sticker with a zip knife and then put the sticker in the spot, like what H-town said?

get a paint pen...theyre great...thats what i use.

I use stencils usually. If not, a scratch or a rip in the griptape.

i don't really get what you're asking, but i wouldn't put a sticker on griptape just get some colored harware, or a sharpie

When I first got my deck kI put small boxes around my front bolts. But now that I've had my board for a while I can tell naturally which side is the front and back.

A sticker probably wouldn't stay on and it would look pretty dumb. You should probably spraypaint a stencil on instead.

What I did was, I went to put the spitfire sticker on it, using it as a stencil to cut the griptape off but realised, the top of my toy machine deck is orange, so now it has an orange spitfire logo on it. It is awesome.

yeah, i used to have paint pens, i want to get some new ones. most lakai shoes come with a sheet of assorted stencils, i prefer the small one.

Stickers will probably just scrap off. Use colured harware draw on a design at the top

i can tell anyway mjy tail is majorley worn down but i got a reds sticker and put it on my nose and a an apllie ipod sticker and put it on my tail, plz theres more dirt on the tail then on the nose

Yeah I normally just scratch the grip with a rock or something. But my back two hardware are super bright. And just from everything, my grip gets ****ed and I can tell the best that way. Also, you will just know from riding it a few times what end is what.

I just draw a line in silver sharpie at the back end. Also theres a big ass chunk out of the griptape on the nose.

Yes it would stick for a while then it would fall off overtime. So i wouldn't recommend doing it. I would suggest putting it on the bottom of your board maybe next to where your trucks are. Dont put it in the center of the bottom of the board because if you do boardslides then it will rip and fall off. It already happened to me.
