Can a dvd player do this?

Record the screen of what is playing on a vcr? Just wondering because I dont have one and if you would like to know what I am using it for just ask but all I want to know is can I do this?

Some of them are 2 in 1 DVD recorders. You would probably know if you had one though. My dad just bought one to record all our old home videos to DVD.

Ha I remember those days. Put tape over that one thing on the tape and put in vcr and record your shows and movies. Great times.........

Maybe if you had one of those 2 in 1 DVD/VCR things. But I don't you could unless you had some sort of other equipment.
