i was wondering how is it possible to get sponsered.

Well most poeple ive seen either get asked to show some of their sponsers they have already your insane tricks or u send in a "sponser me video"
and hope for the best i hope that helps any

does it really matter? im good enuff to get sponsored but i just dont want to. whats the fun in that? Free stuff? i think thats great but ive seen ppl get arrogant cuz they got sponsored.

I would rather not get sponserd but (not me) some people are like 18 and arnt good at ne thing exept skating and cant afford some of this new sh|t these people have to pay for now adays its like get sponserd or not skate but thats just my picture of it (acctually happend to my older brother but ne ways)

Yeah, hopefully I'll have a sponsorship chance by the time i'm 18 cuz our social security for me runs out.

who the hell would want to get sponsered? i personally would hate to be sponsered at this age. maybe when im 22 or 23.but why cant people just skateboard for the fun of it. instead of being sponsered. what do you get when you get sponsered, free stickers that says zumiez boardshop on them. who really cares about that?

Because you asked, the easiest way to get sponsered is by entering a lot of contests. Companies who sponser the contests usually have reps there and they might hook you up if they see what they like. Sponser me videos are alright but I don't think they are too effective.

I would want to be a sponsered am for a few years just so I could tour the world for free and meet a lot of people. Thats just my opinion.

How to ger sponsered, Become freindly with the sport, live it, sleep it, DO IT!...you gotta give it your all never hesitate o try something new, wait till you land to think about whats gonna happen...and of all things..LOVE!!

its all about that nothing else, you must love it enough to keep it going forever, you know people who are in love because they skate day and night, never get pissed, smoke. etc. they skate, their lives revolve around skateboarding they love it, never want to stop, not even for girls, ask tony hawk for instance, he lost his 1st wife because he wated to progress in the sport that much...LIVE IT!

well said ben. yeah it depends if you want to get sponsored or not. I would get sponsored but I dont have a video camera and to make a decent skate video takes months. if I was really really really really good then I would get sponsored

i just want to get sponsered so i can show the world what i can do. and i want a challenge. i do skate for fun but i live in the smallest town in the history of the world and i fell like nobody notices me or my skate crew.

i dont do all of that sponsor poop. i just skate. i never entered a contest before. maybe i have but forgot... ne ways, sponsorship is something ill look into when im lookin to get paid. :P

good point, but when (if) you ever get sponsored, just try not to get arrogent. and i'd only get sponsored when i need to make a career out of it, but for now, i'm doing just for the fun of it. :D

Lol, why would u waaste away such a great deal. If u are able to get sponsored, I'd do it, snapping decks, breaking trrucks, screwing up ur beargins will add on a lot of money, why not have a company represent you in how much u put ur life into skateboarding and plus get free stuff... Lighten up, getting sponsored is good!

I entered a contest. (placed). Handed in a 7 to 8 min video of myself and thats all it took. I skate to skate, but free stuff is cool.

im not good enought to get sponsored i know that. im making a video which we will have done like next year and stuff. i want to get sponsored like a am or just get "flow" free stuff from people. but im not going out everyday and skating to get sponsored i wouldnt mind it but if it never happens im happy if it does im happy

one of my friends might get sponsored. He sent in a vid with him doing some tricks. (not as good as me :D ) still a pretty nice vid. his best trick he did in it was a b/s flip lipslide or something like that... You know as long as he doenst lose his head its great he gets sponsored. That means he'll give me free stuff time to time! If u have a good friend that got sponsored, then y yourself get sponsored when your good friend can give you stuff?
