I know there was a thread similar a while back, but I couldn't find it so i decided to make a new one.
Everyone post your pet peeves.

My biggest one is really annoying. When people have professional cameras but can't use them at all. I have a buddy with a GL2 who definately shouldnt. He had me over to skate and film and shit and when i get there I go over and look at it. I turn it on and there is a mega-blue tint on the picture. "What the hell did you whitebalance this to?" I said. Then he just stared at me blankly and told me he didnt know what white balance is. He's had it for like 3 months and he doesn't know how to turn manual focus on, let alone use it. He also doesn't know what shutter speed, exposure or anything is. I just want to steal it from him.

Pet peeves. Well, the phrase "Same difference", for one. If it's the same, it's not different. Also, I have to use the tail of my board if I'm skating normally. I CANNOT skate the nose (unless it's nollie or fakie); it bugs me. Also, when the toilet paper in the bathroom is on the little hanger thing, it has to be coming over the top from the back and hanging down in the front, not hanging down in the back. Otherwise, it's wrong.

Me too man, on my other board, I had really bad razer tail. My friends just said to use the nose as the tail, I told them I couldn't. It just felt way too weird.

One uppers. People who have to show off to you, or make you feel jealous about something.

Example: my step-brother is the BIGGEST one of these people ever. Such as when he told me how funny the new Chappelle's Show episodes (that I had just told him I hadn't seen yet) were, even though the lost episodes weren't coming out for another 2 or 3 months (which at the time I didn't know). And also when I was gone for the Melvern Fair (whoopee, a fair for a town of less than 400) he told me all about how they had a skate competition (All this time I am thinking yeah right, theres like, 1 or 2 people who skate in this midget town) and he said he was there. So I said OK, what all stuff did they do? And he started naming off all of these tricks, which made no sense, and when I called him out for bsing, he said this was just what he'd heard.
Another example is how he said that before he came to live with us (he's adopted) he was this kick*** skater, and told me all these things he could do, but none of which would be realistic at all (landing sideways 90 degerees backside off of a ledge 10 stairs high, not falling off, but leaning and flailing around heelside, and still being able to ride away from it.) and complete bs (saying how he would like to boardslide this rail at a park near us, right after I did, and how he'd railslide it too, and when I asked him wtf is a railslide, in the context he used it in, and he completely dodged the question). I haven't called him out for it yet, I'll just let him keep lieing to himself.

Sorry about the rant, but that's what I hate, people that do that.

My most hated thing ever, EVER is when the newspaper is out of order. Tempo(has comics in it) should be section five, but sometimes it's behind section six. Or when my parents read the newspaper, then throw it back together to the point where there's no order at all.
