Just Entering the BMX world

Alright everyone! i have just got a hoffman bmx bike pretty good...i was wondering wat i should start learning tricks wise?? any suggestions..if u do...can u explain how to do the trick as well!! cheers!!!

first just ride around, get a good feel of the bike. second, try learning a bunny hop. iv been doing it for about a year and still cant master it. i can only get about a foot high.

right you want to learn to bunnie hop like he says.

to do a nice high one you need to practie of course, but heres the basics. you need to pull up on your handle bars and bring the front wheel off as much as you can while you feel comfortable, as it reaches the top you need to dig you feet into your pedals and pull the back wheel up level using your feet. good luck man, bmxing rules, good to see you taking an intrest.

I got my BMX bike not to long ago, it was kind of hard getting used too it since I'm so tall, but I ajusted. I really need help learning some new tricks, all I can really do is a very small wheely, and stand on my frame and jump off while going fast, I also do a few tricks in the pit, but it's not that fun..:(
