Well I was goofin around today and WE were trying to see how fast we could roll doing tre's, adn it actually seemed like the tres were easier to spin and land going faster.
Same thing with kick/heel flips and pop shuvs
ok this might juse be logic that hasnt clicked in with me yet, but anyone learning Kick flips or Tres or whatever try going really fast, then pop the trick, you might just find it easier :)

Unfortenately, your entirely wrong. Speed ****s you up if anything. Speed might help you do your tricks smoother but most certainly not easier. For that I'd try crack jk. In fact Ninja studies indicated a 56% fear increase when doing any trick fast, especially kickflips. And this is for a good reason. If you land primo going fast... your day is RUINED. If you land primo not going fast maybe 30 seconds of your life is ruined. Personally I go fast downhill and practice all my tricks especially treflips and still find them 10 times easier on the ground.

I landed in primo on a heel flip goin really fast and I did a primo slide for a second then flew off, but it didnt really hurt I just stumble off lol
I guess its just the way I feel then lol
EDIT : I think that landing in primo goin fast is less of a chance then going slow, because when your going faster the speed of the wheels on the pavement seems to make the board either fall one way or another, it usualyl lands upside down or normally

Try that on some pavement. You'll bust your ass, even if you stumbled off.
Usually tricks are easiest for me at medium speed and a little faster than that. I like doing my tres a bit faster though. Alot of stuff nollie/fakie is easier faster. Too me.

i actually think that goin faster wen doing tricks is much easier to do, if u have to balls to do it then try it, cuz it feels like my senses are more alert so i catch stuff better and much more smoother so it might just work out for sum ppl better that going slow

You have to think how many tries does it take to land a solid hardflip, treflip, varial heel, nollie tricks, etc. I'd asume not every try or maybe 4/5 if your really good but if you mess up or land primo the consiquences are 100 times worse then going at a normal pace. So basicly going fast makes it much more risky to your body. Sure you may think "oh im in the zone I just won't mess up" but try a tech trick going that fast, your ****ed. And don't get me wrong its possible to get good at doing tricks really fast and downhill but it certainly isnt easier.

my kickflips seem to be cleaner going faster. ive only lande 2 or 3 tres going slow so i wouldnt know what happens going fast. variels ive never really tried going fast... fakie and nollie is usually easier for me going fast... sept for halfcab flips and BS half cab heels sometimes.
