Some BIG news for me...

So, I haven't been on much, been super busy with projects and such. In case you guys didn't know, I play music, and have for a long time.

Well the BIG news is I have just started a new band/project with Scotty Sorry (Amen,Brides of Destruction) We are colaborating on some tunes right now, Scott is fronting with guitar and vox and I am playing bass and will be playing the drums also on the demo. It's feeling kinda a bit Social D. like. Great songs, big hooks, its kinda punk you can sing along to I guess. I just wanted to throw this out there as I am REALLY excited at this chance to do another record, its been too long!

NEW BAND "HATED PIGS" FEATURING SCOTT SORRY (ex-AMEN / BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION) STARTS PRODUCTION OF DEBUT ALBUM / SINGLE


Boston Mass. August 29, 2006 Newly relocated to the east coast after departing "Brides of Destruction" ex-AMEN bass player Scott Sorry has teamed up with co-writer / producer Dan R. (Joe's Friend, Hell Hounds from Hell) to form "HATED PIGS"

Featuring Scott Sorry on guitar and vocals, Dan R. on Bass and drums. The duo has already started production on its first single "Black & Blue" with a targeted release date before the end of the year. The duo formed when Scott and Dan met at a Trashlight Vision Show and realized they both shared the same vision and roots. They started writing almost immediately.

Song-driven, emotional rock with a punk flavor and plenty of hooks. HATED PIGS Promises to be a band that stays true to their roots and play songs that are memorable and timeless with guitar driven hooks and colorful melodies.

Cool man! I play bass too, always nice to meet another bass player. Ok, I don't play bass so much as claw helplessly at the strings while the cats run to the basement. But, it's still fun. :-5:

Sweet bro, I still haven't found the right guys to make a band with. Some of them want to play Metal, some want to play Christian rock. It's all so confusing.

Hey, combine the two! metal christian, theres quite a few bands like that
Underoath, Death Til,Part, Steel Heaven and Saints and Heroes (Which is a local band, check there web page out sometime) are all awsome examples, its pretty much all i listen to know, though i have heard some good christian rap (even though i hate most rap)
