I am still amazed that I understand how all ten dimensions work.

Have you seen the movie 'What the *BLEEP* Do We Know!?!'?. It touches on some of those points.

I'm by no means a professional when it comes to subjects like this, but I have done a little research on time and off-shoots of possible reality. One thing that I can't seem to get past is going back in time. If seems that if a person were to go back in time one would create a Grandfather Paradox without even knowing. Let's say I go back in time and want to stop myself from breaking my arm at age 8. In preventing myself from getting hurt, I destroy ALL possible off-shoots of possible reality that will be created from that one event. In saving myself, I ultimately prevent myself from going back in time in the first place, because after all, breaking my arm would send me on the path that I would NEED to go on in order to even go back in time.

In other words, if I save myself...the future in which I go back in time from no longer exists which means I didn't go back in time at all (Or I could not). I hope I made some sense.

EDIT: Here are some resources for those who cannot keep up, lol

That was awesome, great find. I can follow it pretty well, makes sense to me! Zack, if you went back in time to that time and stopped yourself breaking your arm, wouldn't that just create another possible future from the one that already happend cause its just posibillity? Cause like you said its already happend, the main question is can you delete futures? Or do you just make new ones. Although that was probably answered somewhere in that flash. Gah.

yeah I heard about that, its the guy who got in a car crash...he crashes into a another car, the guy gets seriously hurt and the other driver dies, then a diamond he finds lets him travel in time, he goes back and prevents the car crash, but when he doesnt kill the other driver it turns out the other drivers was actually destined to be a tyrant ruler, so by preventing the accident he actually screwed everyone over

If he found the diamond when he crashed, then because he prevented the crash, he would never have found the diamond. Was this a movie?

it was a story we read in a class, he found the diamond after the crash a few days after, he was still in great pain from the crash so he wanted to go back to get rid of the pain

yeah but if you consider that there is only one path, then it would be impossible to go back in time and fix what was wrong.

i saw this one episode of the twilight zone where they created a time machine to go back and kill hitler when he was a baby, so anyways long story short, she succeds and she ends up killing the baby, but what happens is the maid of the house who was incharge of the baby, buys some homeless persons son and replaces hitler. so in the end that omeless persons baby ends up being hitler.

time travel is just to complicated of an issue, cuz if you actually change what was wrong, then why would you have gone back in the first place.

butterfly effect, good movie

I wrote this today to try and explain the dimensions. Maybe it will help if you don't understand the video:

The first three dimensions are space, aka 3D. This is well known by all of us; however, we don't see in three dimensions, we see in 1+2 dimensions because if we were to truely see in three dimensions, we'd see not only what we see now, we'd see all sides of a thing, including the interior, all at once. The four dimensions is what we know of as time. It's the path physical objects follow between any two given moments in time. So far, we've covered the four dimensions that we as humans have access to. After this, you gotta stretch your imagination somewhat. The fifth dimension is consisted of all decisions you might make. It is also kind of a form of time, but it includes all decisions you might have made, and all possible paths your life may go in the future. Anything you did, will do, thought about doing, or might do in the future is in this dimension. Imagine this as a main line (the life path you are following now, or fourth dimension), with many, many lines branching off of it (the paths that were/are possible for you to take, or the fifth dimension). The space between is the sixth dimension. If we were to access the sixth dimension, we could not only travel through it back in time, but we could travel through it to see what would have happened if we were to have taken a different path in the fifth dimension. The seventh dimension shrinks everything down. Everything that could have, or will, happen to anyone or anything in our entire universe from the beginning of time until the end, and all possibilities in between, is treated as one point in the seventh dimension, known to us as infinity. It's kind of like the fifth dimension, but instead of it applying to one person, it represents the entire universe. Now, we start to get a little science-fictiony. So, right now, we have our infinity: our universe's entire timeline as a dot. Imagine there are other infinities; parrallel universes, persay. A line between two of these infinity dots (paralell universes) would be in the seventh dimension still, but a branching line to a third infinity would be in the eigth dimension, kind of like how a straight line is in one dimension, but two lines going different directions are in two dimensions. That's all the eigth dimension is: another parameter to the seventh dimension. The ninth dimension is like the sixth dimension: it's the space between the lines of the seventh and eighth dimensions. To travel in the dimension would be to travel between alternate universes. In the tenth dimension, there is only one dot. If you step back and treat all of the infinity dots as being contained in one dot, you would have the tenth dimension. You simply cannot go further. It is said that superstrings vibrating in this dimension create all the sub-molecular matter in the first three dimensions.

I always wondered this stuff when I was little. Like I wondered what if I change one move that I made and see if it could make a different reaction of how I made friends and how I am how I am. That would be neat to just go in time and just mess around of what you did and change it.

Thats so closed minded. Can you get to the sun? No, so it must not exist.

And besides, these are theories. Not fact.

Interesting stuff. Anyone seen a film called Sliding Doors? Is about this woman who is late to work and then it splits and shows what happens if she was to take the train and also shows what would happen if she didn't. It's really good.
Anyway, I think it's really good about the theory of time travel. would you actions when you went back in time affect the future? Could you kill you as a baby and then the real you would die? Or would it just create another dimension? I could think of so many questions about this... very intersting.

I love thinking about things we don't know, and maybe never will. Such as space, ghosts, god, the big bang, dimensions, etc.

I went on that 10th Dimension forum. Oh my, they used big fancy words.

Have you seen the movie 'What the *BLEEP* Do We Know!?!'

I think i've seen that, is it like a video that talks about life, like it could be an optical illusion or not, and it's got like this deaf lady that lives with this other girl, and she's a photographer, and in the beginning, like she starts playing basketball with some little african-american kid, kinda looks like a local city basketball court, and i think she like goes back in time, or has a flashback of her playing basketball in her teen years, if that's not it i saw some movie like that in school.

Hahahaha. Good example.

Heres one my friend just made up

Anyways, this shit is so amazing.

Like space. Is there an end? Whats out there? Is big boy out there?
