Broken Bones?

Hey guys. Weve all broken bones skating. I remember I broke my arm trying to ollie 2 stacked boards.( I know, I sucked but that was a long time ago.)

So what did you break and how did you break it?

3 years of skating and all i've done is messed my knees and right big toe up. Dont know if i actually broke it, but it bent the wrong way :).

I almost broke my jaw on a giant quarter pipe. That sucked. Luckily it did not break, and I've never actually broken anything skateboarding. My body seems to sustain injury very well; which just goes to show that I was made for skating. *Triumphant Grin*

nope.. i manage to get out of bad situations with out any broken bones... but just big ass bruses and sore as muscles.... i should have broken my bones lots of times but they never did... i remember doing a back flip on the trampoline on christmas and went to far back and landed my knees in between the springs and my back went so far back.. i fort i would of broke it, but i didnt!

i never broke a bone, ive had it where you pop a trick off something and you land with your front foot infront of the board and it rams your foot. that kills and i had a huge lump bout 2 inches off me, no joke. killed for like a month. coudn't skate at all:(

I broke my right ankle in three places skating a back yard pool in the early 80's. Dislocated and fractured my finger doing a frontside disaster earlier this year. I've also had some teeth busted out, multiple lacerations resulting in stitches too. Part of the game I guess.

i only broke my toe, but i have chipped bones on my hips, and right arm...

for the 10 years ive been skating or w/e i havent broken a bone yet, just sprained a bunch of stuff like all my fingers, both wrists, ankle, and elbow.
but never broke anything.

i broke my arm bombing a hill caught a rock and rolled down the hill. and i broke my ankle doing a b/s noseslide on the down hubba and tweaked it major.

ive never broken anything but i did roll my ankle countless times, it only ever hurts for like an hour, and ice helps

Worse I have had was scraches and blood and metal slicing my wrist. Still have all the scars.

i've fractured my ankle more than 3 times, just, one was in school, so i had to get a cast, but the rest were from skating.. it really just takes some ice, no need for a cast

Wrist x 4 ( falling down as a kid, and playing on jungle gyms)
Collarbone x 2 ( being born, and running into a corner)
Foot x 1 ( Jiu-Jitsu)
Rib x 1 ( hit by a car)
Nose x 1 ( tried a flip on a bar thing and smoked my face off the ground because i was too tall)

and countless fingers from football, basketball, and foolin around.

Sorry, but when your committed to a trick or move, shit happens to fast to react sometimes. Common sense has nothing to do with it unless you just aren't pushing your limits.
