well first dude, snowboard :P its so much better than skating or biking turst me i do um all. yer but seriously you need to be careful with what you get, cause things are gonna rust when they are constantly wet, also bmxing isnt great fun in the wet believe me. if you wanna be doing big jumps then you are talking dirt jumping dude, its fun believe me. but with snow, ure you can pack it hard but landing ramps are gonna fall to pieces.
you sure you really want to spend money on this? if so then i would look to spend £150-£230 that will get you a decent basic bike. but i would advice getting triple walled rims and thick inner tubes as well. Alex rims are mint, the best you can get, mine cost £50 each so i just got the rear one, it takes the brunt. its never buckled and they are hand built. you are gonna want good, deep tread wheels to go on those. i found the GT bump a brilliant starter. but i replaced the chain with a chunky one for heavy duty grinding and bought some snafu bars. i also got hard grips from hoffman, you need gloves for hard grips. remember that dude. gloves get Fox - Sidewinders, the older version, believe me you will not beat these, no matter what any other person says. also for jumping you want to remove your front break, the rear one can be used to level out etc.
you need anything else hit me on this thread.
