Huh....building a metal rail is pretty hard......I suggest you just buy a couple of 2x4's and build a wooden one. Then you put water on it or just wax it....

Yeah, go to a DIY store and but a 4x4 post and grind that... or look up the ramp plans on this site and see how to make a rail.

i am in hs and have a welding shop and i have already made two rails and a set of snowboard hangers. if you have a bro in high school ask him about making a rail, or take a sick day and have your mommy take you to the high school and go ask the welding teacher about it. we always have people comming in wanting tools fixed and wood stoves repaired so i am sure that they wont mind as long as you tell them what you want and are willing to pay for it.

Guard rails work really well drive along the road or in a parking lot theres always one somewhere that got knocked off or whatever.

Thats a good Idea too, although I wouldnt recommend sliding one, since you can scratchyour board fairly badly on the sharp edges of the guard rail

Just grind the soft edges down:)

That works, but then its not as cool because the surface your sliding on is really wide and it requires no skill to slide on it at all.

Steal em off your neighboors. Or take a long peice of wood at wax it up. You shouldn't need to waste much wax though, just get get it iced over a bit. Snowskate'll slide over almost anything
