me and my friend just built a pretty good one with 2x4s and angle iron
dont remember how much it costs but it was pretty cheap and if you dont mind spending a few hours constructing its worth the extra time

goofy, thats a sweet rail, mine are made of pur metal, but that one is still nice lookin, hows it slide?

it slides great when waxed
its a bit wide (trucks still fit but with only a half inch to spare) but I got used to it pretty fast

Well sure go down to a sports store and buy a skateboarding rail or you can do it the fun and less expensive way Wax+Ledge+Work= A ledge worth skating. This is what I do and I love it but I dont like rails unless they are bolted down.

thats super cheap. The cheapest one i've ever seen is like $100
Me and my friends just made a rail it didnt cost us anything cuz his dad had the materials. but it did take a few hours

I made 4 rails, all in my auto shop, ones an Adjstable flat bar, ones flat(squar shaped not circular) but theres a kink in the top, so it goes up, peaks then down again,, one is circular and not angled, and another is circular with a slope to it (one support is higher)
anyhoo I made them all in auto shop so it was all free, and I got marks for making them lol :p, there all 6-8ft long and the lowest one is 1/2 off the ground when put to its lowest setting

well yes Im sure it costed well over 300 in raw metal, but I wasnt the one paying for it :p
