1. you obviously have to be pretty damn good
2. you send in one of your videos to a skate company, they will accept or deny you.
3. If you want to se what we tihnk befre you send it in, ut it in the sponsor me section on te forum. We will comment an help you make it better.

Well you have to be good and have some fun doing it because most of the companies look for people who are having fun and enjoy skateboarding. Other than that just get out and skate every day. Also when sending in a tape send it to a local shop if you have one.

Dude, skate vids have really good skaters on it. Their A-Team ripping it up and playing it tight. There are alot of spons'd kids that are not in videos. Plus, sponsorship isin't always free stuff, it can be discounts, and stickers, and a t-shirt. If you get sponsored by a deck company, it doesn't mean they're gonna send you a board every 2 weeks. You don't have to be able to nosegrind a handy to get sponsors, if you have good tricks, and good style in switch and reg, then you'll do fine. It's not all about going big, it's about tech too, and smoothness, and lots of style. Get good, get some footy, and send it in to a local shop or something. Good luck kiddo. =)

^That's exactly what I plan on doing. Even though I've only been "trick" skating for 3 months I skate everything from sets, rails, and benches. All while developing my "steez".
