I really like Vigelanti 8 (spelling?) which was a car blow em up game that was really well done for PS1.

Grand Turismo wasn't that bad but got a little boring after a while.

My other favourite had to be Sled Storm. A snowmobile racing game that was very realistic. You could upgrade all parts of your sled and the gameply, graphics and tracks were amazing!

final fantasy 7 is agood game but after 60 hours of play it does get boring THPS3 is also a very good game on ps2 but the ps1 version has crap graphics. my favourite games are the special ops series

It is spelled Vigilante 8, but I had that game for Nintendo 64 and it was great. The second one really kicked ass too.

Also that is spelled Gran Turismo, and that is the greatest racing game series for Playstation 1 & 2. I still haven't played the fourth one yet, but the third one was very good.

I really enjoy Dragging my Playstation out and playing some Dave Mirra BMX(Completely for gaming purposes. I'm not into BMX. :-42: )

for PSX: FFVII im on my 5th playthrough with an average of 75 hours a playthrough...yeah im addicted to that game.
PS2: I would have to go with GTA: Vice City...just because i think that was the peak of all the GTA games. I didn't like San Andreas that much, it was still good though.

I almost beat RE1, but I got to a point in it where I needed a certain item and I didn't have it :( It was in one of the levels before but I couldn't go back so I had to start the game over.

The first time I played RE2 was like 4 years ago at my friends house. He lives out in the middle of nowhere (like 20 miles from the nearest neighbor). Anyway, we're in his basement playing it when we start hearing noises. To make a long story short, we spent the whole night in the basement with the door locked lol. Good times.

PS1: Castlevania, Symphony of the Night. If you said anything else, you should quit playing video games and challenge your grandpa to backgammon.

PS2: Lots of contenders - The Burnout series has been a standout, Dynasty/Samurai Warriors is strangely addicting, Destroy All Humans was very original, Soul Calibur 2 was some of the deepest fighting to hit any system in a while, but...

Even though it's new, I think Shadow of the Colossus will be the game that really sticks with me from this era of gaming. Quite frankly, it's one of the most intense, immersive and atmospheric games I've ever played, and there's absolutely no other game like it in any way. It has a totally unique gameplay mechanic, totally unique story, and a totally unique style.

It's not for your average 12 year old with ADD, but if you have a little patience and want something that will blow your mind, give it a shot.
