Have fun! Best tip out there.

But anyways, winters comin, and im freaking excited.

You'll notice shove it variations are very very fun. Little ledge boardslides are also a great deal of fun.

You can basically take what you know from skateboarding basics, and apply them to snowskating. It's good fun.

now about the, YOU NEED A HILL TO SNOWSKATE THEORY. No you don't.

Set the board on the ground, take a nice steady run at it, and you'll slide for a good 5-10 seconds.

It's goood fun, and a way to keep your tricks for skateboard season is back.

Hey, what do you do if you're snow skating down a ski/snowboard track, and you fall? your snow skate goes down at 500 mph till it reaches the bottom of the track, someones head, or somewhere miles away where you won't ever find it back?
doesn't that just suck? is there a way to prevent this?

oh, and another question: what shoes do you wear when you snowskate?

Well. I don't snow skate on snowboard/ski hill resort places. I snow skate street. So it never really happens. I guess if it does happen to you, then that just really sucks. Prevent it by NEVER FALLING OFF.

Oh for shoes, i wear old-ish skate shoes with 3 pairs of socks on.

or when im lazy, i wear hiking type boot things.

I don't know exactly the price, I have one and I think it cost a little more than a skateboard with trucks and wheels, still costs way less than a snowboard.
And no, you can't use a waxed skateboard because you wouldn't be able to turn, the edges aren't sharp like on snowskates and snoboards.

ima rty snow skating, it sounds really fun,

There's no griptape on the snow skates, it's more of a foamy kind of thing, but I agree, you should try it, it's a really fun passtime in the winter especially when you don't have any gas for snowmobiling.

i have some world industries snow skate, and it doesn't even slide that good on a hill, let alone flat. i kind of want to buy a new one, but at the same time i have the strongest feeling i'll get entirely bored of it.
