Does anyone here play harmonicas? I do. Cause I'm cool.
I'm pretty interested in seeing how many skaters are into blues music too, so if you are, let me know.

I play diatonics right now. I have two Hohner Special 20's in the keys of C and G. And I can boogie. I'm saving up right now for a Huang 1248 chromatic. After that, I might get one of those XB-40's or a 48 hole Goliath Harmonica. Or this crazy thing (http://coast2coastmusic.com/cgi-bin/cart/SUPH20.html).

Stevie Ray Vaughn is one of the greatest musicians ever. Eric Clapton's blues stuff is the best he's done, but it doesn't get much credit.

Only blues I like is really old stuff like Lightnin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Witherspoon, Lonnie Johnson
Lot of solo electric/minimal instrumentation

I like jamming a 12 bar blues but I don't really like blues music. I like some bluesy rock stuff but that doesn't really count.
We've got a harmonica at home though, me and my Dad once jammed on it. I played a 12 bar blues on guitar and he played random stuff on the harmonica, it sounded cool.

I love listening to Johnny Winter. His songs have crazy guitar and harmonica riffs and solos. Just download some of his songs, I'm sure you'll like them.

I'm absolutely in love with blues music. It's like my all-time favourite music ever.
Anything from the old delta blues musicians to people like SRV and eric clapton...all great stuff.
Mainly dig guitar-based blues music but I've seen some musicians who can do some pretty rad stuff with the harmonica too.

You ever heard of Blues Traveler? If you can, download Brother John by them or just about any other song by them, and you'll probably get a badass solo by John Popper (singer, harmonica). Also, if you haven't heard John Popper play "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" on his harmonica, it's pretty amazing.

I'll be sure to check them out.
Right now I'm watching a pretty old video I've had for ages. The song that's playing now is a song by boogie bill webb and he's playing with harmonica slim...it's pretty good
