hey- i just started actually skateboarding today....and when u look up ollie's most sites say to basically slam the back of your skateboard down then jump.. but i started messin around and figured i can get like 2 in of air if i jump just before the back hits the ground.. i dunno...maybe i'm crazy.. but how do YOU ollie??

i pop the tail, jump, slide, suck up my legs, and smack it back down

and reminder: get comfortable wit ur board first then worry about tricks

yeah, unless you're a natural on a skateboard, then you'll fall if you try to ollie right from the start.

those trick tips that say slam it and then jump are misleading. youre already on your way up when your tail is on its way down.
