I was reading Erik Ellingtons deck specs and he said his deck is a 8-1/4 board, what is that? He means width or what?

Most pros skate much larger boards then what they sell. I have found that a decent amount of EE's Pro-Decks are 7.75, but thats for the "consumer".

Yeah, I <3 EE.

duh.

i mean, i used to think andrew reynolds skated 7.5s, because thats what almost all of his boards were. but he also rides about 8.25.

also, thats why people think smaller boards are so normal. all you see is 7.5 - 7.75 pretty much, so its like "oh, thats normal." so when you see an 8 or so, it sounds huge. and its really not.
