Bones Reds Breaking

I had a sets of bones reds since I started skating, about three months. Then, I put some bearing grease on them and 6 of 8 bearings broke that day. I got a new set right after, and that was two or three weeks ago. Today, two more bearings broke. I know at least one of them broke because I dented the dust cover. I was just wondering if getting a little bit of grease inside the wheel could have made them break. Thanks in advance.

so 6 bearings broke and u bought another pair of the same ones...are u one of those special ppl? get black bones swiss.

actually i have black bones swiss and they dont feel differnet from bones reds

just keep gettin reds becouse they are alot cheaper and pretty much just as good in my opinion

whenever i get bones they stop working within 2 months...but now i get lucky's...theyre a lot better.

the reason why you think they are the same is because you probably suck at skating. reds are just as fast as black bones, but black bones last longer, i had them they lasted me a long time, reds lasted me a week.

min actually lasted 6 months(i still have them but i replaced them for fkd's)and only 1 blew on me but it was because i took off the retainer(i thought the retainer was the shield)

yeah they pretty much balance each other out
black bones are about 3 times the price of reds but 3 times as long lasting
so it doesn't really matter

try something else.

for example, hkd 7s. theyre maybe 5$ more, but theyre one of the best normal bearings you can buy. and even fkd 3s are better than reds.

I had bones reds but they lasted me for like 6 months because i didnt put any speed cream or grease. I skate Speed Demon abec 7 or Element swiss now.

w8 guys ive been thinking of buying new bearings under 15 bucks. ur saying that reds suck? is tehre a better brand to get then?
