What do you guys think of krux? Is that okay for a beginner?

they're ok. i hear things about peoples' axels bending, i dont know whats up with that. also, my downlows seemed to have grinded down fast, dont know why. oh yeah, and if trance replies to this, he'll just tell you the holes dont do shit in the krux and they were for advertising, and that you should get indys, then spencer will tell you out of all trucks he likes thunders best, china skate will tell you the reason indy's were made, so will skate rat, and then i'll recommend you pick up some ventures. on the posotive side, crazy dave will give you good things about his downlows. that basically sums up what's gonna happen in this thread :-41:

anything is good for a beginner.

and "built to grind" isnt a logo, its a slogan. not that it matters, but.. i dont know. it helps to have basic definitions down.

i might actually try another pair of thunders, i had the lows, not highs(i thought i had highs), and because the kingpin bolt slightly stuck out i tried fixing them and messed them up.

Thanks for mentionin me 1st dookie. yah, krux are nice advertising, but they're shitty little trucks. they'd sell 75% less if the holes werent there from the start, and they'd go out of buisiness if they removed the holes on the new models. Indy's are brilliant for grinding, and the best for evverything else too. Indy's were made to be a good Skateboard Truck, while krux were made to make money. the hole reduces what, 15 grrams of weight? **** em. Independent Trucks - Built To Grind, Made to Perform

basically what you just said.

it doesnt matter to me really, i dont break trucks easily at all, hell, i could skate a pair of titan ti-lites and they would last me a year.

Damn dookie.

i know, i've been skating for like 5 years about, but mainly like 3 years of serious skating like doing tricks and whatnot, and i usually never break trucks. the most damage i have ever done is snapping a kingpin, and all of them were venture kingpins.

oh yeah, i traded my ventures to some kid for his indys, just wanna try em out, and i really like them. the weight is fine, it doesnt make a difference, and they have a nice and smooth grind. also there is like no hanger interference with skate tools when you are putting on/taking off hardware, as if it really matters.

Exactly. You're only going to like them more overtime.

^^ that pleases me. also, there is no kingpin interference, the truck seems to be perfect for everyone. it's just that like you see guys riding indys, a lot of them are like old school and stuff, so they set that kind of background with indepdent trucks, then you see a lot of newschool riders like stefan janoski, stevie williams, ryan gallant, pj ladd, etc. and you think that like at since they are all street and tech that you should get those if that's how you wanna skate. at least that's how i used to think of things. god i let people influence me so easily.

You see Koston ridin' Indys and you think "Those have to be good". Indepenant lows are gonna be my next trucks.
