I been skating for 2 months. I have mastered ollies and I'm working on manuels and every-now-and-then I can ollie to manuel, and hold it for a while. Just started really trying to do Kflips. Just go at your own past, I guess.

Yes, go at your own pace. Everyone is different so don't worry about it. You should start doing tricks when you feel you are "one" with the board. Practice manuals, Ollies, bombing hills, riding down curbs, ect.

If you can ollie deck about 30% of the time, I think you need to practice getting your ollies DIALED in some you can do them every time. Ask yourself this question and give yourself an HONEST answer: How can you expect to kickflip successfully when you aren't able to ollie consistently?
I'm not trying to bum you out, but encourage you. Learn at your own pace, but IMO, if you like to street skate mostly, and are going to rely on ollies and ollies into tricks, get your ollies to where you can do them in a heartbeat every time.
Have fun and good sk8in

You should never try tricks. Tricks are overrated.
