I dont get exactly what this is. Do you buy different boards? What happens to the grip? Where do you do? And most importantly what is this? If this is what I think it is, is it possible to build huge gaps out of snow?

Snowskate. Snowboard with a more skateboard shape, no bindings. Plastic and Wooden. Come in 2 sizes usually.
When grip dies, get a new snowskate. They don't cost that much.
Yeah, you can build huge gaps, its all about having fun in the snow, but drops are what i like most.

they come in a variety of materials. wood, plastic, and snowdecks.
i just bought a wood one because you can get more pop and board space.
plasic ones are slicker and light. some people like em and some dont.
you can snowskate at local hills, resorts that allow snowskates and the street.
you should try it this winter.
