taking board on Planes?

I have yet to travel with my board. So, I'm not sure if they're allowed on airplanes as carryon or not? if anyone could tell me I'd really appreciate it!!

If it matters any; I'm flying Southwest.

I've been carrying boards onto jets forever and most recently my son carries his board on all the time. You could always be safe and call the airlines and ask.

My cousin went to florida and they let him carry his on the plane.

I'm carrying a couple to China this summer and I don't give a **** what the custom officers say.

i did once and stuck it in the overhead compartment thing ..but theni just stuck it in my suitcase after that but now sincea ll this crazy crap with bombs is going on some places wouldnt let you take anything to cary on so ionno call up the air plane place haha

Yeah.. I don't know about the recent events and the new rules.. I'd doubt you'd be able to carry it on.

That's weird. The secruity guards won't allow little tiny weeny scissors on a plane but they will let a heavy piece of wood and metal on without question. Cool.

I think I'll die in France if I cant skate. I know they let you take them on flights withing the country but what about trans-atlantic?

I tried to get on a plane with my deck once, they said it could be used as a bludgening weapon or w/e and they told me I couldnt board the plane with it it :mad:
