well i got a board in like 2001...but it sat unused in my garage for years and years. i guess i've been seriously skating for about 4 months now. gotta learn my ollies so i can cruise/commute on my shortboard now instead of just curb-hopping my longboards

I got my first skateboard when I was 7.
I only started skateboarding technically for about a year.
Though I learned all the basics in riding and ollies on my own. It helps since now I can learn tricks quicker, and explain to other people the key points in tricks. I landed my first kickflip probably when I was 11. But I never had them consistent until I just started again last year.
