ha. mudvayne kicks ass. there drummer is wayyy crazy with the doubleb pedal in like everysong for almostthe whole song... icould never do that. i tried but it doesnt happen. theyre crazay.

wow i LOVE mudvayne and im going out the 19th and buying it as soon as i can. i think they are VERY talented. i cant believe that they get that sound with only 4 people too!!! and i love it how the songs change from soft to hard and stuff liek in Death Blooms. and their mathmatical way towards music is really cool too!!! IT NEEDS TO BE THE 19TH NOW!!!!

the only song I really like from then is Deathblooms. The video has alot of meaning to it also. Otherwise, im not to much of a fan. Slipknot is much better in my opinion.

personally, i like some of mudvaynes stuff, but they arent my fav band. and djguey was right, they are good, but they arent slipknot. dig has to be about the funnest bassline to play. but personally, i wont even bother burning the cd. partially cuz i dont have a burner. and partially because after a while, all the songs get kinda annoying.

Listen to me, and listen well. Mudvane is not death or black metal. They are nu-metal ok. Got that? Not death or black, but sissy junior high nu-metal. If you really want to get serious about death/black metal i recommend you these.

I am just recommending you some TRUE black/death metal. And having been a black metal fan since 92 and death metal fan since 95 i get kind of personal when someone refers to mudvayne as black metal or death metal. Mudvayne has nothing in common with one singel death metal or black metal band. If you want to know what seperates the nu from black i will tell you.

i understand but we have to get some new bands in here too that are catagorized as black/death metal because then all the older bands will eventually stop playing because of old age and then u will get sick of hearing their songs oevr and over so u will eventually wants to hear something new. and i'm so sorry i made a mistake and catagorized mudvayne as black/death metal but u don't have to go balistic

Yeah new bands do play death and black metal but not mudvayne. They have nothing to do with the occult and have never murdered anyone like the godfathers of black metal. Mudvayne will never be black or death metal. its just how it is. Severe torture exhumed and Dimmu borgir are all new death/black metal bands and there are plenty more of them too. yes i have..infact my brother has a band that plays death/black metal. i listen to his cd's mostly because i haven't been into death/black metal for long. i used to like other types of rock but never death metal or black metal so i don't know of too many of the bands uot there...and i have a questions since mudvayne is not death or black metal whats are they?

Nu-metal. Just because they down-tune and scream does not mean they are black/death metal. Death metal gets its name because the majority of the songs topics include killing, death, and other horrific things. Black metal was here before death metal and is for the most part evil and alot of the black metal bands are involved with the occult and murders. What bands are you listening to of his collection?

Cradle of filth was black metal. Umm they are more black metal than mudvayne but they really are the definition of black metal gone wrong. Listen to some mayhem to get a taste of raw black metal, preferably the live in leizpig. go to cdnow or get some mp3s. Check these out if you want too.

Dimmu borgir in my opinion sucked after enthrone darkness triumphant. They had a melancholic style of black metal. Now its just pop music and heavy guitars with a guy doing highs terribly.

Cradle of Filth is still black metal and even though MuDvAyNe hasnt been around but maybe a year or two ((i have no clue)) you could still consider them black metal.

Listen to mayhem or marduk and you'll se what true black metal is. Mudvayne is NU-METAL.

Hopefully its pre-90s sepultura and slayer. They are thrash but helped create the death metal scene. MayheM is about as pure black metal as you can get.

I saw these guys live for the first time with "Gwar" and some shitty ass rob zombie/jimmies chickin shack rip off band called "bloodlet"...and they kick my ass harder than it's ever been kicked...go check out the song..pedestrians...and The Regurgitation Of Corpses.....i'm out
