get ricta's!!! i got supercrystals the 54mm and they're great and also fast along with the new set of reds. stick with rictas cause there's no flat spotting

My Rictas flatspotted within a month, good thing I got some darkstars though, now those are "guaranteed no flatspots".

I'm skating some single duro Bones 54mm wheels, best I've ever skated
Dual duro is basically a gimmick, you won't notice a difference between the wheels, except sometimes dual duro wheels split, crack, or fall apart. Very small chance of that happening though (though it happened to my friend).
I don't like Ricta wheels either, I didn't like my set, I've not seen too many people happy with them, and I've heard way too many complaints about flatspotting

By Dual-durometer wheels, do you mean the core where the bearings sit is one durometer, and the outside/riding surface of the wheel is another?

On my current board, I have Spitfire Tracers (don't know if that is still a wheel they produce), which fits the description above, with the outside being 97A and the core being 99A (I think). I can't tell the difference in terms of speed, and don't think it helps or hinders my riding. My buddy, who owns the shop where I bought my board believes if it REALLY was that critical, everyone would make wheels that way. I think he's right.

If there isn't a price difference between single duros and dual-duros, why not give a set of dual-duros a try?
