Anyone here stretch before they skate?

I was skating for 3 hrs and came home really sore. Now i wish i had stretched.. but maybe my muscles are just getting used to it since i started skating yesterday.

seriously stretch. i always pull muscles in my back . just 2 weeks ago i had pulled a muscle in my back and i kept skating on it cuzi had to to get home and it got soo bad that it hurt to walk . and i mean hurt. like seriously painful especially to bend in anyway. the doctor said i really should stretch before i skate. so
STRETtch if u dont wanna end up crippled. like i was haha.
i never used to until i started skating a lottt like 5 hours almost every day atleast.

so i was off of skating for a week n a half and. it sucked. really bad. now i lost a lot of my tricks..just over a week yea.

I dont stretch unless I'm really sore. I always start really slow and easy tricks so i dont pull something.

no. sore is a whole different thing. everyones legs will get sore from skating . well eventually u get used to it. but pain is a different thing. like a sharp pain . thats different . jsut keep skating.

i usually stretch my leg muscles, the quads and hamstrings. not like a full out stretch or anything but just enough to loosen up, especially now that its getting colder out. helps you get warmed up faster and lessens the chance of pulling a muscle, not like it takes a long time to do so why not do it.
