Makin a Band help me pick a name!

those are cool...but I don't think it's best to pick a name from ones that you stay up late thinking of...I've tried. All of the good bands...come up with a name in the weirdest ways. For example:

SR 71 = The name of a helicopter they saw.
Limp Bizkit = I totally forgot..but it's a strange one.

I'd just pick something that relates lots. For example if you used to not get along "Unlikely Union"...just names that suddenly pop in your head, that relate. Anyways, if I had to pick, I'd say...

Shattered peace...it sounds more meaningful than the others. I think it's a good idea to use a poll, but in the long run, I'd make the overall deciscion with your band, since that is often the best way. Good luck.

Mrock, we dont have any previously recorded anything, were really still in the making. :D

We think were gonna go with Shattered Peace, because its has a meaning, the meaning is when someone is in a bad mood or hurt or feeling down there peace is shattered, so thats pretty much why we think were going with that name :)

One thing which is unrelated (somewhat) that I felt like talking about..is how important is a name, honestly? Not that important obviously. If it was, Then people like Less Than Jake, Green day, blink 182, SR 71..sum 41...Dead kennedy's...limp bizkit...korn..they'd all suck...if the name determined your skill. I remember someone mentioning a name my friend came up with for a band....saying 'that name is gay'. Let's discuss this...how gay is 'korn'...or 'Puddle of Mudd'? Exactly..the name doesn't make the band...you make the name. You play good...then your name gets cooler...all there is to it!

Good choice on the name....good luck with that. I actually just made a new song last night...(guitar)...It kicks ass..just need lyrics...grrrrr...

Edit: I just noticed that the first name (Final Protocol) sounds like a geek version of the movie Final destination, lol...I thought that was pretty funny...but then again, I have been sniffing some gasoline!

there were these kids in my area that were down in their basement inhaling propane for about an hour then one tried lighting a cigarette...... and since the bsmnt was filled with gass.... it explodes and they got messed up

i think you should mix shattered peace and final protocol to make it shattered protocol, or maybe broken protocol. sounds really cool to me. but yeh i voted final protocol cuz i like the word protocol.
