Hey I wasnt quite sure where to post this seeing as it really isnt a trick. Anyways, I am about to go snowboarding for the first time and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight on how to turn and stop.. that kinda thing.. thanks so much. :confused:

The only advice anyone here could give you is to take a lesson or two on the first times....it doesn't have to be by a pro, just ask your friend to help you for like 2-3 hours and you should get the basics. If you havent snowboard, we can't really help you.

Here's the best tip I can give you. Be sure to keep a lot of your weight on your front foot. It makes it easier to swing the tail around for turningand it can help you stop. To stop, just rotate your soldiers and put your weight on your heels. Your back should follow and the edges should slide across the snow and then you will be stopped.

You cant really teach somebody by talking to em online.Just take some lessons.Thats the best thing you can do!

if ur starting dun go fast..just push out ur board forward n u'll stop..
