Hi there, this is me, the plastic addict as they call me nowadays, so for those of you who are not familiar with me, I'm 20, I'm a snowskate fanatic who video edits to, and once in a while I come here and post some movies to kinda promote my sport.

Today, I'm giving you my first three snowskate movies of this season, three little montages that I really enjoied editing and that I'm quite proud of. Now enough speaking, here are the links:

1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pct5vGQLXUI
2: http://media.putfile.com/preseasonvolume2
3: http://media.putfile.com/lastchapter

p.s. most of the tricks appearing in these movies are done on ice rink snow sketchy setups, so that's why sometimes speed is reduced and landings are not always as good as they could.

thanks dude! to answer your question, the decks shown in this movie are Premier snowskates (www.premiersnowsk8.com), and they're sold in some sportsmarts, some skateshops, and ypu can also buy some on online board shops. The one I personally ride is made of plastic, it's called a Danger girl board (or ntl6) but I'm pretty much the only snowskater to still ride it because they don't produce it no more.

oh and the deck with a ski under it is called a snowdeck, and there's a major difference between a snowskate and a snowdeck because with snowdecks you're allowed to ride in mountains and you can have good control, but snowskates are better for street riding like gaps, rails, ledges and technical tricks.

Seems like alot more sence for the one with skiis on the bottom to be called a snowskate and the other to be a snowdeck.
They look liek wicked fun so maybe ill hav to find one.
Ill definatley get the snowskate (the one witout skiis) cause its more likke skateboarding and my frend has a snow deck and there wicked hard to do alot of tricks on.

yeah looks fun. i think i'm gonna have to pick up a premier snowskate this season. i have a lamar right now but i haven't been able to really get into it, the kicktails are weird and the deck is pretty damn heavy.

i have this world industries snow skate, but it barely slides, on hills too. is it just because world industries sucks or am i doing something wrong? or maybe should i wax it? my dad has this old ski wax, maybe that would work. i usually do a running start to a pretty steep hill. though it slides nice on ice.

I think WI just sucks but I'm not sure because i've never had one. But try the ski wax and if it doesn't work then :-42:
