Ive been thinking of getting Silvers(Not the color, the brand). Are they any good. I like how they have a protection thingy so your bolts dont get stuck on the trucks to where u cant get your wheels off.

A lot of people really dont like these. Theres a lot of talk about them being really dodgy around the pivot cup and such. My friends axels snapped and he barely ever does any big drops or sets and there supposedly quite weak. I would stay away from them.

Check out Thunders/Independents/Krux/Ventures

yea i have ventures now. I was just wonderin because they looked good with the better clearance for grinds and the nut protection and stuff. But i guess they arent so good so ill stay with ventures.

Don't ever get Ventures, they're bad quality. My friend and I were skating a 4 set and the hanger for his ventures snapped completely off!!

i like ventures best. silvers are good too. it all depends on what type of skating you do. if you are throwing yourself over 10 stairs every day then silvers arent for you.

if you weigh near 115 pounds then you'll be fine on them, note you probably will need to skate flat aswell because you will break them easily. Beibel get's a new pair of trucks everyweek.

I think Silvers and Ventures are almost the same truck. My friend had some and they broke easy. Venture kingpins break easy too, and it's very hard to get the broke kingpin out.

I'm so sorry. I had to get that out of my system.

My Ventures are fine. For some reason they feel lower to me than other trucks.

I didn't like the Silvers I had. The axle gaurd at the end is a good idea, I thought, and the upside down kingpin wasn't bad either. The truck it's self I didn't like. It was bulky, and you have to take off the hanger to take out the hardware connecting the trucks to the board.
