for x-mas i am getting new wheels the spitfire defacer ones in either 52, 50, or 54 i have had only one set of wheels the entire time ive been skating and do not know what size they are so what size is just an average fine size to go with

Well dude i would rather get some 54 mm ones cause your wheels will wear out and stuff.

A little taller wheel like a 54mm will be a bit faster as well.

Personally, I like small wheels. 53-54mm are pretty basic wheel sizes.

52's would be good since they'll eventually wear down but not too fast.

its personal preference.

smaller = a little lower and lighter, but it doesnt make a huge difference

bigger = faster, lasts longer, smoother

50 - 55 is a good range for street. i like 53-54 when i ride boards bigger than 8" with my 8" trucks, and i like 52 or 53 when i ride 8" boards with my 7.75 lows.

I dont skate anything above 52 unless i get them for free. Someone hooked me up with some 54's so i ride that now.
