hi, i had thunders not to long ago but never really got to skate them. i had the lows, and i couldn't skate them because first off i like loose trucks. if i had them how loose i wanted them, the kingpin bolt would eventually just fall off because it was barely on. is there any way to fix this on the lows? would buying soft bushings like blue 88 doh dohs give me more clearence, and allow me to tighten down the bolt more, but still have my trucks loose how i want them? i really would like to actually try thunders instead of waste some money again. i actually sold them to a kid so i dont have them anymore.

I'm riding Thunders now. Lows as a matter of fact. I hadn't messed with the kingpin at all. Perfect for me and everyone who steps on my board says my trucks are too loose. I like loose trucks.

buy highs.

and if your kingpin is REALLY that close to falling off, you ride the loosest trucks ive ever heard of. i mean.. i know people who ride trucks so loose they rattle when the board flips and its hard as hell to ride comfortably.. but that is way too loose if theyre going to fall off.

idk man, my trucks really weren't that loose.. maybe the thunders i bought were a bad pair. i guess i'll try another pair eventually, but with any trucks, if i buy the blue doh dohs bushings, if i tighten them a lot, will they still be loose?

yeah i think mine were a bad pair. i tried out my friend's thunders, the new chris cole's, and his were lows and the kingpin bolt was on pretty far and they were perfectly loose. i'll probably try another pair sometime.
