its not really that they grind better. i mean, generally, theyre at the top as far as trucks that grind the best. but its not seriously a noticable thing. theyre just good solid trucks.. thats what it means.

like tensors.. theyre not good solid trucks.. for example.

indys arent built to grind, theyre built to be one kickass truck though, if you like to be able to turn a whole lot you might wanna get different bushings though

in coordinance to joey's post, does anyone know what ford stands for? Fall On Road Dead, or, Fix Or Repair Daily

hahah!

and for you ford fans out there, dont be offended by this, i dont know shit about cars!

To find out, buy some, grind 'em into oblivion ;) Just a catchy slogan probably, and if your interested in the history behind Independent, check: http://www.independenttrucks.com/product/book.php

I noticed I grind a little faster when I got my lows, but that might have been because they were new.

I would speculate that you're grinding faster because the trucks are new. When your trucks are new, the hangar's grinding surface is still rounded. That means less truck surface is touching the grinding surface, and consequently, you will grind faster. As your trucks get ground down, there is more hangar grinding surface physically touching the rail, curb, coping, etc., and you will slow down quicker.

Obviously, this would be more pronounced if you went from well-ground trucks to brand new ones, ya know?

no need to call me names. i think you are the one who dosen't need to be so pissed off about it. and i was telling you there slogan because you made it sound so literal that i didn't know what trucks were.
