Feeble = grind on back truck with front truck hanging down; the front truck goes over the rail.

Smith = Same grind, but the front truck doesn't go over the rail.

It's a feeble if the front truck goes over the rail.

ok, a smith is when you do a 5-0 but the front truck is pushed down to the side that you started riding from. a feeble, is when you ollie over the rail into a smith, or your front truck is pushed down to the opposite side that you started riding from.

i see feeble as u kind of have to ollie over the rail so your whole front truck goes over and your board is sliding on the other side than where u ollied from but ur bck truck is still on...a smith is almost like a shifty cuz you move the front of your board to the side u ollied from so you dont really have to ollie as high. but in both a smith and feeble ur back truck is on and ur board is sliding. itsjust on different sides depending which side u ollie from and hwere the front of ur board is((frontside, backside))

Now that I think about it, aren't b/s smith and f/s feeble the same thing? And aren't f/s smith and b/s feeble the same thing? o_o

^yes,

bs smith and fs feeble = grinding the same way, just from different sides of the rail

fs smith and bs feeble = grinding the same way, just from different sides.

they technically grind the same way but are slightly different when you do them just because the way you move your body differently from the different sides of the rail. feebles i'm usually leaning off to the side more while smiths i'm usually standing up straighter over the object.

not really. if you know what a smith is, a feeble is just ollieing over the rail to get into a smith. for example, say i'm goofy. i'm going to do a frontside smith. i start at the right of the rail, and then i do somewhat of a frontside 90, and i land with my back truck on the rail, and my front truck pointed down to the right. however, if my front truck was pointing to the left, that would be a frontside feeble. if i was going to do a backside smith, i would start to the left of the rail, and ollie, do a sort of backside 90 motion, and my back truck is on the rail and my front truck is pointed to the left of the rail, just like the frontside feeble. however, if my front truck was pointed to the right of the rail, that would be a backside feeble. it's all mirrored.

backside feeble = ollie over the rail to a frontside smith.
frontside feeble = ollie over the rail to a backside smith.

Its really not that hard to figure out.

Smith= lipslide but back truck stays on rail

Feeble= Boardslide but back truck stays on rail

Thats it. There is nothing more to it than that. I am right and lets just leave this thread at that before we turn the poor boy into one of them guys that sits in the corner with his arms around his legs swinging backwards and forwards.

Ok lets say you are rolling up to the rail frontside.

To do a frontside smith you would ollie and put your back truck on the rail and leave your front truck hanging off on the same side that you approached the rail.

To do a frontside feeble you would ollie and place your back truck on the rail and leave your front truck hanging over the rail but on the opposite side to what you approached the rail at.

I hope that makes sense. If necessary i will make a video for you.
