vans-more board feel if vulcanized. i dont th ink dc makes any vulcanized shoes. ive seen a pair tha tlook like they are but arent. get some es theory's theyre bomb. thats my next pair of shoes after my rey 3's i get for x mas are done for.

Oh yeah just to add on to what I said earlier

I wouldn't skate the majority of what dc has because I like simple shoes, with flat outsoles not with lines all in them, and lines all in the upper part of the shoe.

I had the Dc Apache and I absolutely hated them, they were really heavy too.

But I like the Manteca, Stanley, Pride, and Pure.

I got some DC Pures now with the pin strip looking design. love em. nice and comfortable yet i can feel the board through the padding on the bottem.

But Vans has more good shoes.
dc pures arent vulcanized they are fakin it. they might skate the same but they def. arent vulk.ed

Some DC's are INCREDIBLY BULKY! thats why i usally stick with a more traditional shoe. my pair of vans were nice... but i've owned a lot of dc's.
I'd have to say i'd rather buy DC's [if the shoe isn't like a tank].
I like van's a lot too, the only problem i have is finding a vans that fits comfortably.

They are both good but Vans win no competition but never EVER get NSS they wear out in like a day even though they are very comfortable.

Even the name is stupid i mean NSS stands for Nice Skate Shoes.
