you're probably quite young, and aren't too coordinated. once you're about 14 years old that's the peak of learning in skating, roughly around that time you become fully coordinated and if you ask how that ties into skateboarding **** off.

I think it's because you masturbate with your left hand. It's throwing your balance way outta wack.

WTF does him, not being able to skate properly HAVE to do with masturbating? lol! Unless you skate AFTER jacking off.....But it still does not make sense.

So you do it with your right hand then...That makes sense.........

well, when i was 8 or 9 i started skating, and i learned how to ollie 2 decks in 2 years. i guess age kind of plays a role in your progression speed.. for some people at least. now, i've been skating 5 years and i can ollie 5 decks. just keep skating, and things will fall into place.

A deck a year. Nice.
I have been skatin for about a year. I can kickflip, 180, all the good basics. Almost vairal flip. I practiced at least 1 hour a day, usually 2. I wasd always dedicated and thus for broguht me hwere i am today. After I get my vairal flip im noto something else, idk know yet. Maybe BS flips?

not really. i ollied like 1 deck after 2 years, and then slowly progressed. i think i did 3 and 4 after 4 years, and then like a month ago i ollied 5, and the bottom deck was some kid's long board.

At my two year mark, I was pretty much at the same skill level. Now that I'm going into the third year, the basics have all been mastered and I'm starting to get more technical. For me, it's hard for me to get out to skate (live in the country with a gravel driveway), but whenever I skate I throw everything into it, and find I progress much faster.
For me, it's the feel of just riding and the culture that keeps me going even when my tricks aren't that crazy. It takes time, but don't give up. It falls in place eventually.

Skate some vert. Skating vert is like smoking cigarettes; it relieves pressure and it will eventually kill you.
p.s.: I don't advocate smoking.

And it gets you high sometimes. And it will be addicting.

I don't know man maybe your just not cut out for skateboarding. After 2 years of skating for me I could ollie 4 decks and do all the basic tricks and a few more difficult ones.

Age really matters? Im younger and I'm doing fine. Just not as much progress as teens skating for "2 months".

I really don't think you've been skating for 2 years and can only do that. If I could only do that after two years I would've quit long ago in frustration. There probably isn't anything wrong with you, you just need to commit.

Maybe he enjoys the rush of just pushing about on a board, you don't have to do tricks to be a skater.
Just work on bringing your legs up higher.

Just Chill out and have fun, keep practicing, and with your ollies, Jump!!! that means both feet front and back!, what your describing is what i see a lot of younger people do, that jump higher with their front foot and dont bring their back foot up off the board very high at all. But seriously if you really love skating dont worry about it, keep at it!!!!
sorry, but you should maybe find another hobbie if your skating for 2 years and can only ollie...well if you wanna skate really badly, then just practice pactice practice.

Try doing it switch. My little bro did the same thing. He tried it switch and was much better. but just keep going I've been skating for about 6 months now and i can ollie 2 decks because thats all I used to do. Now I've gotten more technical. I can noseslide but not 50-50 so just dont get discouraged.

your probably just slow learner skateboarding takes time and practice, try switch and just keep skating, its not about the tricks you can do, its all about the fun.
and if you find that you dont progress try a new sport like BMX, U may find that u pick tht up much quicker :)
