I used to skate about 2 years ago, and a few weeks ago got back into it, and i have never really been able to grind, my best tricks 2 years ago were:

bs kickflip
bs heelfip
360 pop shuv-it
nollie pop shuv-it
varial kickflip

i havnt got any of these tricks back yet but surely if i cud do those trick i shud have been able to grind, all i cud do wer feeble boardslide on a 1 foot rail. whats going on!

Just practice and commit. Thats all I can say. you can't just try for 15 miutes and give up. You have ot take a couple days of dedicaton and get it. Maybe more.

yeh dude wat they said. i mean i didnt sk8 for 6 months (got back into it about 5 days ago, btw couldnt do anything b4 i got back into it) but now i can ollie 1 board, fs180, manual for 2 seconds and almost pop shuv it. wat im sayin is if u commit and want to do those tricks again all u need to do is practise.

Like they all say just commit to the grind and try harder.Flip tricks for me are much more fun than griding, but I really wanted to learn how to grind and it really took me forever to actually learn. After a while I started adding flip tricks into my grinds and thats the most fun ever since it get pretty hard. Back to the point, just go out and try to grind and have fun learning them.

I had the same problem as you, like i had all my technical tricks down but i just couldnt grind!

The prob was with my ollie, so i relearnt ollies and started ollieing higher and now i got my 50-50, 5-0 down on boxes...still gotta have the commitment for some huge hand rails. Learning feebles and K-grinds now!

Good luck man, just work hard and keep on keeping on hahaha
