Are there any programs out there that you guys use to convert the video files into a more popular and acceptable file by most movie makers accept, such as .avi or .mov, or even .wmv, that after you covert the files, little or no quality is taken away from the clip? thanks.

quicktime pro and sorenson squeeze are the best compressors, making your footage smaller in size, but great quality (if that's what you want to do)
