OK here's the thing. I don't have a common problem in my shuv-it.(or at least I think I don't.)Anyways, It's really annoying because I see my friend shuv-it in front of me all day and I still cant land one. Here's the problem.

The spin. No problem! I spin perfect!
Foot positioning, P-E-R-F-E-C-T!
The jump, flunk!I mean, I can get my front foot up in the air easily, in fact, I can land it with my front foot. As for the back foot, it's a matter of me being scared, it's just that I can't pop the board, shuv-it and get my foot in the air.

For example. I do the pop and the shuv-it but after that I can't apply a jump to that motion, so my back foot just ends up on the floor immediately after the pop shuv-it and my front foot ends up landing it.

Any suggestions?

Side note: When I kickflip, I can land 1 foot. I land with my back foot only, but it's because I can't get my front foot over in time, any suggestions on this too?

its a comiitment thing man you just cant think about it.and with the k-flip just practice flicking you front foot and bringing it back to the tape.

Practice doing the motion without the skateboard. Your front foot doing what it already does, and your back foot scooping and then returning to it's previous position, all in one little hop. After you have an engram (approximately 15 times of doing this), it will become much easier for your body to re-iterate it with a skateboard.

practice one foot shuv its first maybe ? which is where you do the whole motion for the 180 degree turn but keep one foot on the floor and catch the board in the middle with one foot

picture in your mind yourself doing the motions for the trick, the kickflips a big comitment trick, don't kick out to the side as much, your foot will not have anough time to get back on the board if you do this.
