Will this be a good things to start me grinding?

I dont know will grinding the edge of a half-pipe be pretty good practise it looks pretty simple what do you think? ...can't wait till theres a skatepark i don't have to go ten miles to get to...

grind on anything its all practice.

hes right... grind anything.. but grinding a half pipe is totally diff from doing it on a rail or ledge. total diff concept.. if your planning on doing it on rails, get a rail or find one.. a ledge, get some wax and find a nice ledge somewere.. doesnt have to be high, just something with an edge to it.

I used to grind a pole that went to an old swingset it slides soooo smoothly i never could make it all the way acroos i always fell of becuase it was round not flat.
