Which trucks are better? Metal trucks or hard plastic? As I've mentioned before I bought two different complete decks with metal trucks and the metal has snapped off. I've seen a board with hard plastic trucks and thought it may suit me better. Thoughts?

I prefer alumium. After all, That is what all trucks are made out of nowdays. And Yeah, I've seen plastic trucks. They are really light though. No harm in using them for some light skating.

Well there are softrucks, but they are extremely crappy(from what i hear, I have never actually tried them). Just stick with metal.

Soft trucks are rubber and are totally different from regular trucks; they don't roll.

Softrucks are just 'stands' made for practising ollies and such indoors. Then there is UpTrucks. This is made from urethane. S Google search should bring something up. Oh, but the ginding area and the axle is still metal.
