I say X-box...I've been a Nintendo disciple for the last 10 years, but they're getting really baby-games.

I think GC has more powerfull graphic capabilities, but they don't use it to the max for now...wait for resident evil :)

gamecube will have SOME good games, but id go with xbox. i have it, and its sweet. when thps3 comes out for xbox, it will be revamped and have a new huge level.

gamecube is all pokemon and mario. xbox is mostly teen/mature games (you're 16, so...), and ps2 is a little bit of everything


i would get a ps2 if i was you, but thats not one of the choices, so i say get an xbox

man, go with the xbox... better performance, better games, and it can do much more that the gamecube.... Rip and play music, play dvds, multiplayer on internet... etc. Also, the gamecube was desinged for little kids... have u ever held the controllers? there sooo small. anyways, go with the xbox totally. Yeah right dude! The graphics might be a little better, but thats it. The controller is not comfortable at all, it has glitches and runs like a computer, and its as big as a computer. Its what games that come out for the system that make it better anyway. Take Ps1 and N64. N64 had 64 ram and PS1 had 32. Playstation just made way better games than N64 and as a result was a way better system. To prove my point the PS1 wasn't popular till like a year and a half after its release when FF7 came out. Before that it had crappy games and was labeled a crappy system.

If you want to know witch system to buy look for what games you like best I personaly have a PS2, but I think gamecube is going to be good when Resident Evil, and Metriod come out.

Damn you're funny....man....if you're talking about something, make sure you know what you're talking about.....Console don't work like computers....in fact.....console don't have RAM memory...RAM is for PC and Macs to run programs faster....it connects the prosseser to any drive (hard, CD, floppy) and makes sure everytyhing's done fast and clean. The 4(gameboy), 8(NES and GES), 16(SNES, Genesis, Gameboy Color), 32(Sega Saturn, Playstation), 64(Cougar, N64), 128(Dreamcast), 256(PS2, X-Box, NGC) means, in bites, the texture quality and indirectly the max. frame rate.

I agree that some games were better on PSX than on N64, but the graphics simply sucked on PSX. You'll never have FF quality on N64, I agree, but you have to agree that you wont have Goldeneye's playability and fun on the PSX. The thing is; Sony had an exclusivity contract with Capcom and Konami on almost all their games.

Xbox seems to have more potential to be a better system. It seems like Nintendo just can't land half as many publishers as Sony and Microsoft can meaning they have way less games.

I'm happy to see Nintendo is still around, I think Louigies Mansion is a cool game and it's good for all ages.

To tell you guys the truth I'm not a big console fan, I use to be a orginal Nintendo and Sega guy but then I started playing PC games. I think PC games are much better because of the use of chat, multiplayer gaming, you can host your own servers, no restrictions really on games, easy to get games, price compared to a console isn't comparable and the gameplay and graphics are as good if not better.

Ya, I was a ferrvent nintendo "disciple", but then, when they started to release all kind of "hey lil kid, buy me" stuff, I stared doubting 'bout their quality. I had my 1st NES at the age of 5...and I wasnt playing Pokemon (No1 ever though that thing could exist), I was playing good old "Double Dragons" and original Marios. Then, not so long ago, when the next generation arrived, Nintendo took the occasion to make some huge money with the Game Boy Color, the Game Boy Advanced and the Pokemon saga. The huge mistake they've done was to to follow their 1st customers (10/12 years ago). If that would've happened instead of allways releasing new games for 7/10 years old, they would be waaaaay better than xbox or PS2, because the Gamecube, when well developped, can give ****ing good products (Look at the RE:rebirth screenshots). All I have to say is that the marketing agents at Nintendo were allways thinking about the new generation, not their old time users.

out of the two i would say x-box, but if ps2 was involved... ps2...... i like the games better(theres a lot more) and the controller is easier to use(also you can use yor old ps controler in it, not a ps1 controller that damn small thing), but also x-box is just a computer with a Ge-Force 3(nice graphix card, but they alreddy cam out with a Ge-force 4 and it looks much better).... so baically al you need is a little thingin your computer now and you can play x-box games on their, and witha Ge-force 4 it'l look betta than x-box......TADAAA

x-box's not more a computer than gamecube or ps2....ppl say that because it's made by microsoft....but it's not like a computer.....there's no RAM memory, no motherboard, no usb ports........it doesn't work like a computer.

actually they all run off of motherboards, there may not be ram, but thats only because they run off of cd's, ps2 does have USB ports, and a modem, and HDD(hard disk drive), xbox has a built in HDD i believe, not sure tho. GC i dont give a crap about cuz its nintendo, i mean cmon, pokemon? thats about as low as you can get. "hey, lets get a buncha little kids stuck on a video game, turn it into a movie, get playing cards, hats, shirts, lunchboxes, mousepads...etc" they got baby games. but yeah, mario party? cmon ppl. grow up. but anywayz, id say go w/ PS2 only because developers already know what it can do, and can IMPROVE off of what they know.

Nintendo is the best gaming company ever.....they have HUGE quality games. No kidding.....they's like the pioneers of home gaming (not talking about atari or things like that). They're there from the beginning....LONG LIFE NINTENDO

How about save some money and get all 3 of the major consoles... Like PS2 It's been around for longer thatn Gamecube and Xbox but who cares they have sweet games.... Nintendo It has childish games but who cares they can develope games for mature audience... X box i have no idea about it cause I don't have idea of how it works... so if get enough money and buy all the consoles you would be annoyed of which is better you would play more of one but have the other one... Like when I had my n64(for which I still have) I say some ps1 commercials and I was like I want a ps1 so I couldn't play a lot of games so try to get all the consoles available cause maybe you have a ps2 and want to play a game that only Gamecube has so don't try just to go for one cause I had my gamecube and I was happy that I had it cause I was long life for Nintendo. Then I saw the trailer for GrandTheft Auto 3 and I was like Man I wish nintendo made games with Rockstar( they do have 1 game). The I bought a Ps2 and like I have GTA3 :) yay but still don't just go for one console...

tell me u nintendo is a kiddie system peeps. is resident evil a kiddie game? HELL NAW!!! the first time i played, i almost wet myself! EVERYTHING is friggin real! Rogue Leader is also a cool game. Pikmin is hilarious and Luigi's Mansion is just cool. GC will have more good games soon.

PS2 is a bit better right now cuz of the more games available.
