hey dude, joined this forum so ppl can help me out with this stuff.. anyone frm london btw? i just got a new stick 4 my bday and just wanted to no if any1 has some tips and advise for a first time skater (btw i can more normaly on it but if u can give me some tips on how to keep steady and balance it would be xtremly helpful)

Well the first thing you have to do is learn whether you're goofy or regular. If you skate facing the right side, your regular and if u skate facing left, your goofy. Next, ride around and get used to it. And remember, there's alot of bullshit and anger ahead of you when your first learning to ollie. Don't give up though.

Check out the sticky in the beginner forums
Find your stance then just roll around on your board.
It might take a while for you to get comfortable with standing and rolling with your board. Keep at it
