This is a thread to leave suggestions for those beginning filming.

Information such as: "What is a lense? How do I use one? What are good camera angles to use? How should I edit?" are always needing answering, and any info would be helpful. Post away.

Im new to filming. I have a kenko fisheye. I'm just wondering how to get good angles. SHould it be low...high. etc . And how do filmers stay so non-shakey when filming lines when they have ot go from slow to fast very quickly. I posted some footage in the promos section titled Weekends footage. If you watch it maybe you can see what im doing wrong. :D

Wat u sould do is get those good pushes then have a comfortable spot for u like bend ur knees so ur stable and sht but not uncomfortable flip the lcd to wherever so u can get the camera low without having to get low urself.
I no im not being very coherent but im tryin.

IMPORTANT RULE WILL HELP U NOT GET UR ASS KICKED:
always be ready to film, start recording way before the line or trick is started and end it way after the stuff is done. Because if u miss the trick or end it early or tunr it on early the skater will completely murder u, alsou wanna catch after-tricks cause if he lands it and does something else cool or almost gets hit by a car, or something like that, then ull feel dum saying that u didnt get it.

not a question but i think people new to cameras need to learn the 5 second rule, which is what SteenBlakai is talking about

IMPORTANT!!!

USE THE RULE OF THIRDS!!!

When they start out capture them on the left of the screen. When there doing the trick make sure you have then in the center of the screen. When there done make sure there in the right of the screen.

MAKE SURE YOU CAPTURE THEIR WHOLE BODY AND NOT JUST THEIR FEET!!!

With steady shot on the vig bounces up and down on the computer. As will fuzz or anything else on the lens.
