is having bigger wheels a lot smoother on rough surfaces? or is it because of the wheels i have? i have 51 mm wheels and i can only skate on sidewalks or other smooth surfaces because its too rough on the streets. what size wheels do you guys recommend? is it still possible to do tricks with bigger wheels?

also, how can i stop the trucks from squeaking? after a couple of times i rode the skateboard, it started getting really squeaky.

yeah just let your trucks get used to the board and wear in a bit. it will stop in a bit like le monade said earlier.

Having tall soft wheels will ride smoother for street skating, but if you want to do more than cruise, you'll want smaller and harder wheels. For the type of skating I do (parks, bowls, carving, ramps, and the like) any wheel smaller than a 59mm and softer than 97A is worthless to me.
